Network Support Engineer - Athens

We are looking for a NOC Engineer (m/f) to act as the central point of contact for network and satellite operations for maritime customers around the world

Key Responsibilities
:

  • Provide technical support for German customer reported network and satcom infrastructure.

  • Deployment and maintenance of IP network solutions.

  • Performing regular monitoring of the networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision of technical support and resolution of network infrastructure issues (WAN / IP / MPLS) reported by customers.
  • Implementation and management of IP networks tailored to the requirements of the maritime industry and based on satellite technology (Satcom / VSAT).
  • Performing routine maintenance and monitoring network performance for optimal operation (PRTG / Nagios / Zabbix).

Required Skills

  • Understanding of Networking – CCNA would be perfect (but not essential)
  • Understanding of Linux Systems - Ubuntu/Debian/CentOS/RedHat
  • Experience providing technical customer support
