Impact of the Role

As a
Senior DevOps Engineer
, you won't just maintain systems - you'll
automate, optimize, and elevate
how we build, ship, and scale infrastructure. From cloud architecture to secure and repeatable IaC workflows, you'll design solutions that reduce friction, empower teams, and improve time-to-value across the board.

This role is for seasoned engineers who love Linux, thrive in automation, and understand infrastructure as code inside out. If Azure is your playground and Terraform is your toolkit, we want to talk.

What will you do as a Senior DevOps Engineer?

• Architect, provision, and manage
  scalable, secure infrastructure in
  Microsoft Azure
  using
  Terraform
  and
  Ansible.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  using
  Azure DevOps
  , embedding testing, security, and compliance checks.
• Own
  Linux-based environments
  , ensuring performance, reliability, and resilience through configuration, hardening, and automation.
• Champion
  Infrastructure as Code
  practices for everything from networks to compute to storage.
• Automate operational workflows
  across deployment, monitoring, scaling, and recovery.
• Proactively improve observability using tools like
  Prometheus
  ,
  Grafana
  ,
  New Relic
  , or similar.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to optimize delivery pipelines and streamline environment provisioning.
• Build and maintain
  internal tooling and scripts
  (Bash, Python, etc.) to automate repetitive tasks and manual interventions.
• Enforce secure defaults and operational guardrails with
  policy-as-code
  and
  secrets management
  (e.g., Azure Key Vault, Vault).

What you bring to the table:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience
  in DevOps or SRE roles, primarily in
  cloud-native
  and
  automated environments.
• Deep expertise in
  Microsoft Azure
  and managing its core services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity, etc.).
• Strong command of
  Terraform
  ,
  Ansible
  , and general configuration management & orchestration principles.
• Proven experience building and maintaining
  CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Solid Linux skills - scripting, process debugging, performance tuning, hardening.
• Fluent in
  Bash
  ,
  Python
  , or
  PowerShell
  for automation and tooling.
• Strong understanding of
  networking
  (VNETs, DNS, load balancers, VPNs, NSGs).
• Experience managing
  containerized applications
  and orchestrating deployments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with
  DevSecOps practices
  , compliance automation (CIS benchmarks, audit readiness), and secrets management.
• Experience implementing
  monitoring and alerting systems
  for proactive operations.

Bonus points

• Experience with
  Keycloak
  , OAuth2, or integrating secure authentication/authorization into infrastructure.
• Exposure to
  ISO 27001

  SOC 2
  , or regulated industry environments.
