The Role
We are looking for a Business Information Security Officer who will be responsible for monitoring the performance of the cybersecurity controls related to the IT services provided to the organization's information assets. This role requires a deep understanding of current security threats, trends, and best practices to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that the Company and the subsidiaries in their service comply with the Group Cyber and Information Security requirements and policies.
  • Acting as the 1st point of contact for all Cyber Security requests.
  • Performs compliance activities and oversees the delivery of remediation of Cyber Security weaknesses.
  • Understands business needs and directs requests to the Group Cyber and Information Security team.
  • Supports the execution of Cyber Security activities in the subsidiaries, including Information Security Control Assessments, Coordination of Security Testing, Incident Management and KPI and KCI reporting.
  • Conducting regular Cybersecurity & Information Security Risk Assessments for IT Systems.
  • Planning and Coordinating Application Penetration Tests and Infra Vulnerability Assessments.
  • Acting as Project Manager for every security finding related with Penetration Test and Vulnerability Assessment, identifying and evaluating security risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Overseeing and Managing security incident response, investigation, containment, and remediation.
  • Evaluating cybersecurity related requests and infrastructure changes (user access requests, system interconnection requests, change requests).
  • Post-incident reporting and analysis to prevent future occurrences.
  • Coordinating with Cybersecurity & IT team of the Bank to ensure secure configuration and management of network, systems, and applications.
  • Oversee the delivery of security awareness training for employees of the subsidiaries.
  • Participating in internal and external audits related to information security.
  • Promoting a culture of security awareness and proactive behavior across the organization.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST).
  • Staying current with emerging security threats, technologies, and regulatory changes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • MSc in Information Security (highly valued).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity and information security or a related field.
  • Security Certifications (i.e. Cloud related, CISSP, ISO 27001 LA, CISM) are highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in the Greek and English language.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
