Public Health Fellow – Research and Project Management

The Prolepsis Institute, a Non-Profit Organization (NGO), specializing in public health with a strong national and international presence since 1990, is seeking for Public Health Fellows to join its dynamic and interdisciplinary team.

We are looking for a motivated and committed individual to support the design, implementation, and oversight of innovative research and applied programs in the fields of Health and Public Health, with a strong social impact focus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, management, and implementation of public health research and applied projects in Greece and internationally.
  • Collaborate with and provide guidance to interdisciplinary project teams.
  • Support or lead the development of partnerships with national and international organizations.
  • Draft or contribute to scientific and technical reports, grant proposals, and peer-reviewed publications.
  • Ensure the scientific rigor and quality of project deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • Medical degree or a PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Sciences).
  • Passion for socially impactful and humanitarian programs aimed at reducing health inequalities.
  • Fluency in Greek or English (native or near-native proficiency).

Desired Qualifications

  • Documented research and/or teaching experience across more than one country or cultural setting
  • Proven experience in health or public health sectors through clinical work, research, academic engagement, or project implementation.
  • Knowledge of biostatistics and ability to analyze quantitative and/or qualitative data.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and innovations, including AI technologies and data science tools relevant to public health research.
