Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an
Accountant
at JS Accounting located in Athens,
Kypseli
. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Day-to-day
    posting and reconciliation
    of Vendor's and Client's invoices
  • Registration and control of the
    bank's
    movements
  • Preparation and reconciliation of
    eBooks
    submissions.
  • Preparation of monthly VAT, VIES, Intrastat and various
    Tax declarations
    (Income Tax, Withholding Taxes, E2, E3, N, stamp duty returns etc)
  • Performing month-end and year-end
    closing activities
  • Tracking Assets' depreciation and monitor
    fixed asset register
  • Preparing
    financial statements
    and
    annual income tax returns
    for businesses

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Accounting & Finance, or related field
  • Relevant working experience of
    minimum
    2 years in the role
    or
    5 years in general
    in a similar working environment (this is a
    key prerequisite
    )
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Familiarity with Epsilon software such as HYPER/EXTRA/Tax System will be preferred)
  • Experience in tax legislation and compliance
  • Very good knowledge of MyData platform and procedures
  • Computer literacy, with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
