Responsibilities:

  • Implements IT projects that support business objectives, in collaboration with the involved teams
  • Coordinates cross-functional team collaboration to ensure smooth project execution and delivery of outcomes
  • Monitors project progress, ensuring deadlines and budget limits are met
  • Manages risks and resolves issues that arise during project implementation
  • Implements IT projects that support business objectives, in collaboration with the involved teams
  • Creates detailed project plans with clearly defined goals and deliverables
  • Communicates with all stakeholders, ensuring continuous updates and collaboration
  • Monitors and analyzes program performance, providing reports and recommendations for process improvement
  • Supports project compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards and Project Management Office (PMO) operating procedures
  • Participates in the adoption and implementation of practices, techniques, and methods established by the Project Management Office (PMO) of the Department for optimal IT project management
  • Collaborates with the Project Management Office (PMO) on tasks related to demand and project portfolio management, as well as the implementation of capacity management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a University or College or Technological Educational Institute in Sciences, Technology, Economics, Business Administration, or Computer Science
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) will be considered an additional qualification
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in operating a Project Management Office (PMO) and/or managing multiple projects/programs related to Information Systems and Telecommunications
  • Experience in Information Technology or Telecommunications teams will be considered an additional qualification
  • Project Management certifications, such as e.g. PMI, Prince2, PM2 will be considered an additional qualification
  • Familiarity with software development, basic cybersecurity principles and network infrastructure will be considered an additional qualification
  • Knowledge of MS Project
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
  • Availability for urgent geographical relocations
