About the role...
We are currently seeking an experienced Junior Software Engineer (Java/Spring) to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our business in implementing and developing solutions for large EU and international institutions and private sector companies in Greece and abroad.
What you will do
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Spring Boot applications;
- Support the team in building microservices architecture;
- Write clean, maintainable code under the guidance of senior engineers;
- Contribute to technical documentation;
- Create and execute unit tests (JUnit);
- Learn how to deploy and configure applications in cloud or on-prem environments.
Technical Skills required...
- BSc's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any other relevant field;
- At least 1 year of experience in Java Spring
- Solid understanding of Java (object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms);
- Some exposure to Spring or Spring Boot (university, internships, or personal projects);
- Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken.
Exposure in the following will be considered as an asset:
- Cloud & DevOps: AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Git, Jenkins);
- Databases: Relational and Non-Relational.
