About the Role

The Corporate Communications Senior Associate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Olympia Group's communications strategy. Working closely with the Corporate Communications Director, this role will support the Group's positioning as a trusted, forward-looking investment organization, while also managing day-to-day communication activities across our portfolio.

The role includes direct engagement with portfolio companies: collaborating with their leadership and communications teams to ensure alignment with Group messaging, providing strategic and tactical communications support, and helping to amplify their reputation both locally and internationally.

As your Core Responsibilities you will:

  • Support the development and execution of the Group's corporate communications strategy, aligned with business objectives and brand positioning.
  • Draft, edit, and oversee high-quality content including press releases, speeches, Q&As, media statements, newsletters, op-eds, and presentations.
  • Manage the Group's media relations: coordinate with local and international journalists, prepare briefing materials, and monitor press coverage.
  • Contribute to the management of corporate reputation, including issues management, crisis communications support, and proactive storytelling.
  • Work closely with Portfolio companies to: a. Align corporate messaging and ensure brand consistency. b. Provide communications support for key announcements, events, and milestones. c. Advise on best practices in media engagement, internal communications, and digital channels.
  • Support the planning and execution of corporate and portfolio company events, conferences, and thought-leadership initiatives.
  • Manage the Group's digital channels and corporate website: content development, updates, analytics monitoring.
  • Oversee and maintain corporate communications materials (fact sheets, key messages, corporate presentations).
  • Conduct research and provide insight on industry trends, competitor activity, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance and brand guidelines across all communications outputs.

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, public affairs, or PR agency work.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English and Greek
  • ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling narratives.
  • Solid understanding of media landscape (Greek and international) and experience managing journalist relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in issues and crisis communication.
  • Digital fluency: managing websites, LinkedIn, and other social platforms for corporate use.
  • Proven project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated adaptability, ability to learn quickly, take initiatives, and lead multiple priorities
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
