RAN Mobile Performance Engineer
" to be part of our cutting-edge
Radio NW Technology & Budget Controlling Team.

You have a challenging mission to:

Engineer and optimize Nova's nationwide RAN network, delivering unparalleled performance and establishing Nova as the undisputed leader in mobile network excellence throughout Greece.

What will you do:

  • Analyze extensive RAN data to proactively identify and resolve network bottlenecks, ensuring seamless connectivity and exceptional user experiences.
  • Perform in-depth network analysis and troubleshooting, coordinating effectively with operations, NOC, and field support teams to swiftly resolve issues.
  • Optimize and enhance wireless radio access network communications systems, including interference analysis, frequency coordination, and capacity utilization, leveraging expertise in LTE/5G-NR.
  • Drive the evolution of our network architecture, incorporating advanced technologies like O-RAN, and consistently exceeding key performance indicators.
  • Develop and implement advanced scripting and data analysis techniques using tools like SQL, Python, and BI systems to extract actionable insights from network data.

It would be great if you have:

  • MSc Degree in Telecoms related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in similar position within a service provider/operator or vendor.
  • Hands-on experience with LTE/5G-NR RRC, SDAP, PDCP, and SIP signaling layer procedures.
  • Experience with network architecture (3GPP Air Interface, standards, technology and evolution) and RF Engineering Principles.
  • Proficiency in system optimization and performance KPIs.
  • Excellent command of MS Excel / MS Access and strong scripting skills in SQL.
  • Experience with BI systems (GRAFANA, TABLEAU, QLIK view, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Experience with technologies like Hadoop, SyBaseIQ, Carbon, Prometheus, Linux, Bash scripting, R, or Python.
  • Excellent command of the English language and strong communication skills.
