Job profile summary:

The Junior IT Consultant role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to kick-start their careers in IT consulting, specifically within the banking sector. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions tailored to the needs of our banking clients. You will work closely with experienced consultants, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experience in projects ranging from software implementation to systems integration.

As a Junior IT Consultant, you will contribute to analyzing business requirements, providing technical support, and ensuring that delivered solutions meet the highest quality and performance standards. You will have the chance to learn about the latest technologies and methodologies while collaborating with a dynamic team committed to delivering excellent results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in analyzing business requirements and creating technical specifications for IT projects.
  • Support the implementation of IT solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and banking standards.
  • Participate in testing and validating software applications and systems integrations.
  • Contribute to documentation efforts, including user manuals and training materials.
  • Work closely with senior consultants and team members to develop project plans and timelines.
  • Learn about and apply industry best practices in banking technology.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
Requirements

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Previous internship or project experience in IT consulting or the banking sector is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in technology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Additionally, preferred qualifications include:

  • Familiarity with banking systems and technologies.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
