We are looking for a Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming to work on website projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Convert UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible front-end code
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimize websites for speed, accessibility, and scalability, with a focus on Core Web Vitals
  • Enforce website security best practices and follow modern coding standards
  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cross-browser, performance, and integration issues

Work Experience and Technical Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in web development
  • Fluent in CSS3, Javascript (ES6+) and HTML5
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS/SCSS)
  • Experience with browser testing and debugging
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
  • Working knowledge of versioning and source control systems (preferably Git)
  • Familiar with building from Figma/XD designs with pixel-perfect precision
  • Good grasp of UI/UX principles and responsive design best practices
  • Experience with PHP and the WordPress CMS
  • Familiarity with command-line tools (WP-CLI)

Experience on any of the following will be appreciated

  • Experience in custom WordPress theme/plugin development
  • Experience with , TailwindCSS, and utility-first design
  • Familiarity with GSAP or other JS animation libraries
  • Working knowledge of PageSpeed Insights, Core Web Vitals, and site performance audits
  • Exposure to REST APIs, or JSON/XML
  • Experience with WooCommerce
  • Understanding of web security and data sanitization best practices
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and deployment tools
