Technical Project Manager

Intellectica is recruiting a
Project Manager
on behalf of its client, a fast-scaling web agency delivering cutting-edge technology and digital solutions to high-profile clients, primarily in the media sector. The company specializes in the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of digital platforms, including complex website rebuilds and redesigns. With a strong focus on agility, quality, and client trust, the team is expanding to support its growing portfolio of digital transformation projects. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting directly to the PMO, you will play a pivotal role in leading cross-functional teams, managing project delivery, and ensuring the successful execution of web-based initiatives from concept to completion.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Leading the full lifecycle of digital projects (e.g., website implementations, redesigns, and maintenance), from initial client briefing and requirements analysis to final delivery and post-launch support
• Translating client needs into actionable plans by collaborating with development, design, UX, social media, and marketing teams
• Creating and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal capabilities
• Managing project documentation, including implementation guidelines, and progress tracking reports
• Facilitating Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, while promoting Agile best practices across teams
• Communicating regularly with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates, manage scope changes, and ensure alignment on priorities and timelines
• Monitoring project budgets, overseeing invoicing, and ensuring financial accuracy throughout the project lifecycle
• Allocating resources effectively using task management tools, and adjusting priorities based on team capacity and project needs
• Identifying risks and proactively resolving issues to maintain project momentum and quality standards
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for project-related matters and ensuring client satisfaction
• Managing change requests, including impact assessment, plan adjustments, resource reallocation, and client communication and billing
• Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Certification in Agile Project Management (e.g., PMI-PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 Agile, PSM II) is highly desirable
• At least 4 years of professional experience in software project management roles
• Hands-on experience managing web projects (e.g., website redesigns, CMS migrations, SEO optimization, responsive design)
• Strong understanding of the full cycle of a web project, from discovery and design to development, testing, launch, and maintenance
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) and hybrid Waterfall-Agile environments
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, creative and digital teams, and external stakeholders
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Teamwork, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet is a plus
• Knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore) is highly desirable
• Fluency in Greek and proficiency in English, both written and spoken
