FINANCIAL ANALYST

Premier Capital Hellas SA, the operator of 35 McDonald's restaurants in Greece, is seeking to recruit a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Analyst to its Head Office to join the nationwide team that proudly delivers the McDonald's experience to thousands of guests all day, every day.

The company is part of Premier Capital plc, the Developmental Licensee for McDonald's in Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta and Romania, operating 195 restaurants, including several McDrive, McDelivery and McCafé operations, and employing 11,000 people. More than 77 million transactions (guest counts) are effected every year across the six markets.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed variance analysis, comparing actual monthly results to forecast and budget.
• Identify KPIs and monitor against set targets, forecast and provide insights on future performance and flag underperforming metrics to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems..
• Collaborate with accounting, operations, and other teams to align goals.Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
• Analyse CoS and expenses to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Stay informed on market trends and industry conditions to forecast impacts on the business and provide insights into mitigating potential negative impacts.
• Support audits (Internal & External) by providing documentation and explanations.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, reporting writing and presentation skills.
• Team player with cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles (Greek GAAP, IFRS)
• Experience using Power BI (or other Business Intelligence tool) or Excel to create visuals.
• Strong proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and Powerpoint.
• ERP and financial systems knowledge (e.g., Entersoft, Microsoft - Navision).
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisHigh level of integrity and professionalism.
