Finance Director (Ref. 6002/FD/ESS/GR)

About the Role

The Finance Director will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for shaping and implementing the company's financial strategy, safeguarding financial integrity and supporting long-term growth. Beyond financial acumen, the role requires a leader with a strong orientation toward innovation and the integration of new technologies, able to introduce modern practices and digital tools that elevate efficiency, transparency and business insight across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement the company's overall financial strategy in line with business goals.
• Lead the design and monitoring of the budgeting and forecasting framework.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, providing strategic insights to senior management and the Board.
• Safeguard compliance with all tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage financial resources, capital structure and external stakeholder relationships.
• Champion innovation and drive the adoption of modern ERP systems, digital finance tools and advanced analytics.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering high performance and a culture open to change and technological evolution.

Candidate Profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. Postgraduate studies will be considered a strong asset.
• Significant experience in senior financial leadership roles, within industrial or commercial environments.
• Proven track record in financial strategy, reporting and the design of budgeting processes.
• Strong exposure to ERP systems, digital transformation and innovative financial solutions.
• Demonstrated commitment to embracing innovation, new technologies and continuous improvement.
• Fluency in Greek and English.
• Strategic mindset with excellent leadership, organizational and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
