Our client is a growing international services organization in the financial sector, currently undergoing an exciting phase of digital evolution. With a strong focus on technology-driven efficiency and modern in-house solutions, the company aims to enhance internal operations by developing customized applications tailored to business needs.

We are seeking a Senior Application Developer to join the IT team and play a key role in the design, development, and enhancement of in-house software applications. This role will gradually take ownership of application development initiatives and contribute to improved user experience, system performance, and overall business productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, deploy, and support in-house applications and systems.
  • Produce clean, scalable, and maintainable code using .NET languages (C#, VB.NET).
  • Enhance and optimize existing custom applications and internal tools.
  • Integrate data from various internal and external databases, APIs, and services.
  • Provide technical support for web, desktop, or mobile applications when required.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive software documentation.
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer.

  • Proficiency in at least one .NET language (C#, VB.NET) and solid knowledge of HTML5/CSS3.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented principles and software design patterns.
  • Excellent SQL skills, with experience in MS SQL Server and Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
  • Familiarity with architecture styles and APIs (REST, RPC).
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and master modern technologies.
  • Experience in the Banking or Finance sector will be considered a strong asset.
