Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME)
in Athens to work with our clients in the
European public sector.

We are seeking a highly skilled
Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME)
to provide deep technical expertise and strategic guidance on enterprise platforms. The SME will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and supporting platform solutions that enable scalability, reliability, and innovation across the organization.

Platforms:

• Middleware / BDA
• CCN, UUM&DS, Shared Services, CCN2, SPEED2, ARIS

Your role:

• Serve as the go-to expert for platform architecture, integration, and lifecycle management.
• Lead the design and implementation of platform solutions (e.g., cloud-native platforms, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with business and technical requirements.
• Define and enforce platform standards, best practices, and governance models.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks to enhance platform performance and security.
• Support incident resolution and root cause analysis for platform-related issues.
• Provide technical mentorship and training to engineering and operations teams.
• Contribute to platform roadmaps and strategic planning efforts.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
• Deep expertise in:
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines
• Virtualization & Containerization (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Data Center Operations
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Strong understanding of platform security, monitoring, and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• You are fluent in English (B2 level minimum); knowlegde of another European language is a plus.
• You must be eligible for EU Security Clearance (at least 5 years of EU nationality in required).

*This role may require flexibility, including shift-based work and on-call responsibilities, depending on operational needs.
