Job description

We are currently looking for a full time Communication and Dissemination manager (CDM) for our office at Pylaia Thessaloniki Greece or remote.

The person recruited will undertake the communication management of specific projects under European Union research and innovation Grants (e.g. Horizon Europe) in diverse scientific and technological fields.

As a CDM, you will join the team and undertake tasks, including:

• Manage communication and dissemination activities (i.e., monitor and collaborate with the project's working teams to meet communication objectives).

• Design and edit content for print and online materials (i.e., website, newsletters, brochures, press releases, presentations, etc.).

• Coordinate and create content for social media outreach.

• Writing reports to document dissemination results following the EU guidelines.

• Organise events locally and across Europe. Participate in international events and meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in any of the following: journalism and media studies, communications, marketing.

• Language skills (excellent command of Greek and English, both verbal and written, is necessary).

• Experience (>2 years) in any position including (but not limited to) EU funded projects' implementation, content creation and management, corporate communications assignments.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate efficiency in:

- - Copywriting (i.e., social media posts, blogs and small articles, campaign messages, promo materials like posters.

• Using tools like Canva, Mailchimp, CapCut, etc.

• Content management systems for websites.

• Preparing materials for media outlets, such as press releases, short news items, etc.

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Tools (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)

• Convey clear and engaging messages

• Be able to work within interdisciplinary and multicultural environments

Optionally:

• Academic excellence (e.g. first-class graduates; please indicate your grades)

• Experience in creating and managing social media content and marketing campaigns

• Knowledge of Google Analytics, certification at Google Ads and/or SEO techniques.
