ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a proactive Senior Brand & Communication Executive to lead and support the development, execution, and optimization of Odyssey brand and communication strategies. This role involves managing content creation, social media publishing, multilingual marketing campaigns, PR coordination, and event support. You'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and the design team to ensure consistent messaging and high-impact communication across all channels.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a creative mindset and a sharp eye for detail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a deep understanding of audience engagement, and are confident in juggling multiple projects across different brands and platforms.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Strategy

  • Responsible for creating/editing content (blogs, ad copy, social posts, website content, eBooks, etc.), defining and executing the content marketing strategy.
  • Research, create, write, edit and update content assets across various content streams (incl. website pages, blogs, white papers, etc.), ensuring accuracy and brand consistency. Collaborates with whoever is needed (e.g. Product, Sales, etc.) to produce the content.
  • Develop, manage and optimize the annual content calendar
  • Create high-quality content optimized for SEO and conversions.
  • Delegate tasks within the team and across functions (i.e., design team), establish workflows and ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Manage any external content production where required (agency/contractor).

Digital Campaign & Email Marketing Management

  • Plan, create, and execute Odyssey's organic and paid social media strategy across relevant platforms, aligning with campaign objectives and audience personas.
  • Develop engaging, audience-specific content tailored to platform formats and brand tone of voice.
  • Own the end-to-end email marketing process—including campaign planning, content creation, segmentation, automation setup (HubSpot or equivalent), A/B testing, and performance tracking.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of social and email marketing initiatives, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with the design team for creative assets and with the Head of Marketing for strategic alignment.

Events

  • Lead the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of Odyssey's participation in global events.
  • Ensure brand consistency and optimal audience engagement throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to support pre-, during-, and post-event marketing activities.
  • Measure event ROI and contribute to ongoing optimization strategies.

General Support

  • Assist the Head of Odyssey Marketing with various marketing projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Monitor and report on campaign KPIs and support data-driven decision-making across the department.

KNOWLEGDE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 3–4 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content campaigns.
  • Strong writing and editing skills (blogs, social posts, emails, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and campaign planning.
  • Familiar with HubSpot or similar tools.
  • Basic understanding of paid and organic digital marketing.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience coordinating events and working with external partners (e.g., PR agencies).
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
