Create Coffee offers a holistic approach to specialty coffee. We provide consulting services for setting up successful coffee projects and a wide range of education services, including SCA accreditations for both professionals and enthusiasts. We organize events and workshops focused on taste and flavor. Our roasting business creates bold flavors, sourcing the world's best beans from specialty estates in most of the world's origin countries. We prioritize quality and fair relationships with farmers to deliver the very best coffee to our customers.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Athens for an Assistant Trainer to join our team.
The Assistant Trainer will:
- support the execution of trainings and workshops by assisting lead trainers and ensuring smooth session flow
- maintain the training lab at the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality and readiness for daily activities
- assist in organizing and conducting coffee tastings including set-up, calibration and sensory evaluation support
- collaborate closely with the R&D and Training teams on educational content, new coffee projects and sensory research
- support as barista during internal or external events representing Create's quality and hospitality standards
What we're looking for:
- Experience in the coffee industry, including having worked as barista
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail
- Passion for coffee and dedication to creating a positive experience
