The role

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us scale, secure, and optimize our cloud infrastructure. You'll work closely with developers and product teams to automate deployments, improve observability, and ensure our services run reliably on AWS.

Responsibilities
  • Containerize and deploy applications (Docker, serverless, microservices)
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing and releases
  • Monitor system health and performance using AWS and Grafana, and drive cost optimizations
  • Create and extend dashboards, alerts, and monitoring tools for a service-oriented view
  • Troubleshoot production issues (availability, performance, errors) and perform root-cause analysis
  • Manage MySQL and PostgreSQL databases (AWS managed services) — monitoring, backups, upgrades
  • Implement security policies, access controls, and contribute to fixing security issues
  • Collaborate on architecture and technology choices for future platform growth
Requirements
  • Strong experience with containerization (Docker)
  • Good understanding of networking
  • Familiarity with modern web architectures (monoliths & microservices)
  • Hands-on Linux administration (CLI tools, OS fundamentals)
  • Database administration skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Strong scripting skills (bash/zsh/sh)
  • Git and GitHub experience
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Nice to have

  • Experience with AWS services (ECS/EKS, RDS, networking)
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Grafana dashboards (PromQL, LogQL)
  • Redis administration
  • DNS management
  • Programming background in web technologies (PHP, )
