The Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer who will be responsible for executing manual tests on both the front-end (UI) and the back-end services of applications. The testers will ensure software quality by identifying bugs, validating fixes, and documenting test outcomes. The role involves close collaboration with functional analysts and developers to verify that business and technical requirements are properly implemented.

Responsibilities

  • Execute manual test cases on web applications and backend services.
  • Log test results (passed/failed) and document identified defects.
  • Re-run tests after bug fixes to verify resolutions.
  • Collaborate with functional analysts to understand user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with developers to support debugging and ensure issue resolution.
  • Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
  • Participate in integration testing between the client's platform and third-party systems.
  • Provide clear and concise feedback to improve product quality and testing efficiency.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in manual application testing (preferably in the banking sector, lending automation systems, or Business Process Management systems).
  • Proven ability to document test scenarios based on functional requirements, user stories, and use cases.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • University degree or equivalent education.
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of software development and integration processes (a plus, not required).
