Innovation & Communication Officer for EU Funded Projects (ref. ICO0925)

A Research & Technology organization is currently seeking an energetic and motivated Innovation & Communication Officer. The successful candidate should hold a University degree, preferably in Business Management, Economics or Marketing disciplines or a relevant field of study. Postgraduate or Doctoral Degrees or experience in Business or Marketing or Innovation Management will be considered a plus. Strong project management skills and experience in running European funded projects and/or submitting proposals for funding will be additional plus. Excellent working knowledge of English (written & oral) is mandatory.

Responsibilities/Main Duties

· Implementation of Innovation Management Tasks for various EU or National funded projects including project Dissemination, Communication, products Exploitation, Business Plans and Business Models development.

· Implement technical/ research work according to assigned tasks mainly relevant to business model creation, market analysis, competition analysis, business plans etc.

· Set up and manage projects' websites; content creation of Printed and Digital Communication Material; Social Media management; content creation of press releases, articles and publications.

· Develop, review and control project deliverables coherent to high quality objectives/standards.

· Manage project per description of work, within committed time plan and effectively to ensure quality throughout the process.

· Participate in project conference calls and meetings.

Requirements

Experience

· 1-3 years in similar position (Innovation/Product/Business/Marketing) management or consultancy.

· Proven and demonstrated experience in managing National or EU funded research projects, implementing dissemination & exploitation activities and drafting relevant plans will be a plus.

· Experience in preparation/writing/submitting of high-quality proposals in National or EU funding Instruments (Horizon Europe, Horizon2020, InterregMED, RESTART etc.) will be considered an advantage.

Education

· University degree, preferably in Business Management, Economics or Marketing disciplines or a relevant field of study..

· Master's degree or/and PhD will be considered an advantage, preferably in/related to Business/Product/Marketing/Innovation Management (e.g. MBA).

· Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

· Strong communication skills and familiar with digital marketing tools.

· Familiar with Business Model creation tools (Business Model Canvas, Value proposition Canvas etc), Market analysis methodologies and Competition analysis.

· Results oriented with an ability to work under deadlines.

· Excellent use of Microsoft Office applications.

· Excellent use of English (oral, written, understanding).

· Able to work independently and self-managed as well as being a Team player.

· Strong presentation, organization and communication skills.

· Excellent work ethic with commitment to the success of the team.

Other

· Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally.

· Ability to cooperate with international academic and industrial partners and work across distributed/virtual teams.

· Proven ability to manage tasks and issues, meet deadlines, follow through on commitments, and take corrective action in a proactive manner where appropriate.

· Ability to deliver under strict deadlines, ability to manage the tasks and deliverables to schedule.
