We are looking for a Senior Accountant

As part of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of our financial operations, contributing to both day-to-day processes and strategic financial initiatives.

Your day to day will include:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of accounting entries in accordance with IFRS and local tax legislation

  • Participating in the monthly closing process, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial transactions

  • Contributing to the preparation of financial reports

  • Ensuring that all transactions are properly documented and compliant with internal accounting policies

  • Ensuring compliance with the MyData electronic bookkeeping platform

  • Participating in and coordinating accounting projects, including process improvements, policy updates, and system implementations

  • Supporting the Tax Compliance process and contributing to the completion of related reports

  • Commuting to our offices in Kozani is possible whenever required

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (University or Technological Institute)

  • Certified Class A Accountant – Tax Consultant license (Άδεια Α' Τάξης)

  • Proven experience in an organized Accounting Department

  • Excellent knowledge of Greek tax legislation and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

  • Strong command of MS Office, with emphasis on MS Excel

  • Strong time management and commitment to deadlines

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and methodical approach

  • Sharp analytical and critical thinking skills
