The Finance Manager at Kenshō Paros plays a key leadership role in safeguarding the financial health and long-term sustainability of the property. This position is responsible for financial planning, cash flow management, reporting, and compliance, while supporting business growth and strategic decision-making.
Acting as the financial steward of the property, the Finance Manager ensures transparency, efficiency, and profitability, while representing Kenshō with external stakeholders such as banks, investors, and auditors. This role requires a balance of analytical expertise, business acumen, and hands-on execution.
- Lead the planning and coordination of all financial department activities.
- Design and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's profitability goals.
- Prepare, manage, and monitor the annual budget, ensuring timely reporting and variance analysis.
- Track and evaluate financial performance, preparing monthly and ad-hoc reports for management.
- Monitor financial metrics, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure effective cash flow management and optimal use of financial resources.
- Oversee internal control procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation, accounting, and tax regulations.
- Safeguard the company's financial integrity through accurate, timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations for future investments, projects, and cost-reduction opportunities.
- Participate in the preparation of detailed business plans for new ventures, including identifying optimal financing structures.
- Act as a key advisor to management, supporting long-term strategic decision-making.
- Supervise the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting operations.
- Represent the company in dealings with banks, investors, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with ERP systems and financial management software, maintaining data accuracy and reliability.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; postgraduate studies preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality or tourism sector.
- Registered with the Economic Chamber of Greece with certification to sign A-class balance sheets.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, tax, and financial regulations.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and financial management systems.
- Excellent command of English (Greek highly valued; additional languages a plus).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and reliability in meeting deadlines.
- Flexibility to be based in the Cyclades during the operating season.
