Role purpose:

Responsible for supporting the business controller in a wide range of financial tasks, supporting strategic and operational decision-making through financial controlling, data-driven insights, and performance analysis. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, budget control, and the monitoring of data models and dashboards that enhance business visibility and efficiency.

Key accountabilities & Decision ownership

  • Preparation of
    monthly management reporting
    and presentations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain regular contact with
    internal and external stakeholders
    , ensuring alignment and transparency in financial analysis and ad hoc reporting.
  • Maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI / Excel / other BI tools.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple systems (ERP, CRM, financial databases)
  • Actively participate in
    monthly and annual financial closing processes
    , ensuring full reconciliation and integrity of financial data.
  • Prepare and deliver
    financial reports
    for both internal and external audiences, offering analysis, insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor and control company expenses
    , ensuring compliance with internal policies and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Reconciliation and control of Power BI (PBI) reports
    , ensuring data consistency and accuracy across reporting tools.

Must have professional / technical qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance
    , Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field (required).
  • CFA certification
    or
    Data Analytics qualification
    will be considered an asset.
  • Proven experience as a
    Financial Analyst or Business Controller
    , with solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, Power Query, VBA a plus)
  • Fluency in English
    (spoken and written).
  • No military obligations
