Environmental Laboratory Analyst

We are looking for personnel for our laboratory in Piraeus to perform physicochemical and microbiological analysis of potable water, wastewater and environmental solid and liquid samples.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct daily analysis according to laboratory requirements. Sample preparation and analysis for timely testing.
• Calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Apply quality control procedures in compliance with
  ISO 17025
  standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Hygiene, Food Technology, or a related field with a focus on Analytical Chemistry.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Computer Skills.
• Strong teamwork, time management, and initiative-taking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in drafting operational procedures (e.g.,
  ISO
  ,
  APHA
  ,
  EPA
  ,
  ASTM
  ).
• Familiarity with chromatographic techniques (e.g., liquid, gas, and ion chromatography).
• Proficiency in computer applications (
  MS Office
  ).
