ELIT Language Services
is looking for an in-house
Translator/Reviser
to join our Translation Department in Athens. You will be part of a close-knit, high-performing team serving international organisations, EU institutions, public authorities and large corporations-clients who expect linguistic excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Translate texts from English into Greek with accuracy, clarity and stylistic consistency.
  • Revise and review translations to ensure quality before delivery.
  • Constructively and efficiently apply feedback from revisers and project managers.
  • Work with translation memories, termbases and CAT tools to maintain consistency across projects.
  • Run QA checks.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team's translators to meet deadlines and deliver top-quality results.
  • Contribute to the development of terminology resources and internal linguistic tools.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Translation (BA or higher) or a degree in another field plus at least 3 years of professional translation experience.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English.
  • Proficiency in CAT tools and digital translation environments.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Team spirit, initiative and excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of additional languages or experience in terminology management is an asset.
