Need some extra income before the holidays? Join TES Staffing and the dedicated team in Greece, NY as a floating Food Service Worker This entry-level kitchen position is an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school district and develop your skills working with children.

Schedule: Daily sub/on call. This position is AM only (no nights or weekends) Set schedules are offered upon availability.

Pay: $17.00/hr

Benefits: Contract to hire opportunity Excellent benefits offered through the school district if brought on permanently including health insurance, retirement savings, and more

Qualifications:
  • Previous food service experience preferred, but not required
  • Must obtain, purchase, and pass background check through NYSED.
  • Ability to float to different Greece Central Schools as needed
  • Perform physical job duties that include walking, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Must effectively and professionally interact with students, faculty, and staff


What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assist with cafeteria coverage within the Greece Central School District
  • Food preparation such as making sandwiches, cold plates, etc.
  • Wash and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and equipment
  • Operate kitchen appliances
  • Serve students
  • Set up condiments and supplies
  • Utilize knife skills
  • Operate POS if needed
  • Various kitchen duties as needed
