Networks Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organisation's digital communication infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability across all network systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, WLAN, and hybrid network infrastructures.
  • Monitor and analyze network performance, ensuring reliability, speed, and security.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues, outages, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and access control systems.
  • Ensure network security against malware, cyberattacks, and emerging threats.
  • Collaborate with third-party providers, vendors, and internal IT teams to optimize systems.
  • Provide technical support and user training to staff across departments.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven hands-on experience as a Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or similar IT role.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching protocols.
  • Practical experience with Cisco, FortiGate, Ubiquiti UniFi, Check Point, or similar network hardware.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools, cybersecurity best practices, and intrusion prevention systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
  • Experience in cloud networking and hybrid environments is a plus.
  • High ethical standards, fitting with the Values of Antenna Group.
