Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Athens, with flexibility for some remote work, for a PHP Developer at STIX. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for writing clean, secure and efficient PHP code, maintaining existing codebases, troubleshooting, and debugging applications. You will work closely with our development team to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of working experience in PHP development
  • Good knowledge of PHP programming language and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
  • Experience with PHP frameworks like Symfony, Laravel, or CodeIgniter
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Familiarity with MySQL databases and their declarative query languages
  • Experience working with version control systems like Git
  • Experience working with AI tools.
  • Good knowledge of Linux and Apache web servers
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
