Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior PHP Developer, based in Athens with some work-from-home flexibility. The Junior PHP Developer will be responsible for web development tasks, writing clean and efficient code, collaborating with other developers, and participating in software development projects. The role also involves debugging, testing, and ensuring the reliability and performance of web applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of working experience in PHP development
  • Good knowledge of PHP programming language and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
  • Experience with PHP frameworks like Symfony, Laravel, or CodeIgniter
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Familiarity with MySQL databases and their declarative query languages
  • Experience working with version control systems like Git
  • Experience working with AI tools.
  • Good knowledge of Linux and Apache web servers
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
