Role Description

Lingua Learn requires a Part-Time Freelance English Tutor based in Athens, GREECE to teach Hospitality English to professionals working within the hospitality sector in levels from complete beginners to advanced (CEFR A1 to C1). The course will be provided to a corporate client at their premises.

The successful candidate must be educated to a degree with an accredited teaching qualification and a minimum of 5 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language. Furthermore, the candidate must be experienced in assessing students' language proficiency in all 4 skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), preferably using the CEFR Levels Framework as a reference.

The summary of requirements is as follows:

  • English speaker
  • Teaching qualification
  • Educated to a degree level
  • Based in Athens or surrounding regions
  • Able to teach face-to-face English language classes to professionals working in the hospitality sector
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
  • Familiarity with using MS Office tools, especially MS Powerpoint or other interactive tools (e.g. video/audio tools) for the benefit of the students
  • Experience in assessing students in all 4 skills of proficiency
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Able to travel to the client's premises to provide the course as required
