As part of its development Volton strengthens its human resources in Athens and seeks an IT Salesforce Engineer.

We're looking for an IT Salesforce Engineer to join our growing IT team and help drive the evolution of our core Salesforce platform across both our Energy and Telecommunications divisions.

You'll be a key player in the ongoing development, integration, and support of our Salesforce platform, which serves as both CRM and Point of Sales platform. As part of a collaborative and solution-oriented team, you'll bridge the gap between product, sales, operations, and our Salesforce vendor, turning needs into real, working solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, and implement small-scale enhancements and new features within Salesforce
• Optimize, support, and maintain existing Salesforce configurations and integrations with third-party systems
• Design application solutions and develop automations
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Serve as the primary liaison between business teams and the Salesforce vendor
• Review business, functional, and technical requirements, participating in application design, configuration, testing, and deployment
• Apply and promote Salesforce best practices across development, configuration, and user experience
• Proactively identify, assess, and recommend solutions or initiatives to enhance the current Salesforce setup
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, serving as an escalation point (2nd level support) when needed
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills to diagnose problems and ensure reliable platform performance

• 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce solution designer, software engineer, or functional analyst
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Solid hands-on experience with Salesforce, including Flows and UI programming
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data structures, and relational databases
• Good understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and RESTful API design principles
• Experience in translating business requirements into effective technical solutions; and in Vlocity Objects and functionalities in Salesforce
• Salesforce certifications or/and Apex scripting knowledge are considered a plus
