Job Description

We are seeking a Senior ML/AI Engineer (Agentic AI) to join our Data & AI team, driving the development of the Agentic Engine — a next-generation framework that powers Healthentia's intelligent behavioral coaching and decision-support systems.

This role blends data science, machine learning, and agentic AI engineering. You will mainly design and orchestrate AI agents that reason, learn, and interact with healthcare data, while also developing data-driven analytical and predictive models that support patient insights, profiling, and future behavioral intelligence.

You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to European R&D projects, collaborating with academic and research partners on frontier AI/ML research applied to healthcare.

Requirements

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain agentic AI modules, multi-agent workflows, and decision-support systems.
  • Implement retrieval and reasoning pipelines enabling agents to interact with structured healthcare data and guidelines.
  • Develop data pipelines and analytical / ML components that transform data into actionable insights.
  • Apply AgenticOps / MLOps methodologies for reproducibility, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with product, clinical, and software teams to ensure safe, ethical, and effective AI outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in AI / ML system development, from design to deployment.
  • Proficient in Python, SQL, and data modeling / ML fundamentals.
  • Hands-on with LangChain, LLM APIs (e.g., Azure OpenAI), or similar agentic/orchestration frameworks.
  • Experience with AgenticOps, MLOps, or DevOps tools and methodologies, including MLflow, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud environments.
  • Skilled in serving AI systems via APIs (e.g., FastAPI, Flask).
  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
