The
Senior IT Project Manager
position is full time based in Heraklion, Crete.

Responsibilities

As a
Senior IT Project Manager
you will join a global diverse team, and your duties will be the following:

  • Oversee a team of Package Managers responsible for individual IT project implementations
  • Engage, manage, and secure buy-in from all key stakeholders, including the Client, Contractor, IE, airlines, concessionaires, and regulatory agencies
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and manage project budgets, efficiently allocating resources across different areas
  • Lead the development and implementation of a change management strategy and oversee the entire procurement and contract administration process, identifying and qualifying vendors
  • Manage designers and teams to get on-time design approval and develop a comprehensive IT project implementation strategy aligned with the airport's overall business goals

Qualifications

In order for your profile to match this
Senior IT Project Manager
role, you need to have the following:

  • 5+ years of experience in managing complex IT projects
  • Experience overseeing vendor selection processes and managing vendor contracts and implementation timelines
  • Proven ability to manage large program and project budgets
  • Experience developing and implementing a procurement strategy and managing the overall procurement and contract administration process
  • Ability to lead the development and implementation of a change management strategy to minimize disruption
  • Fluency in English
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
  • Previous experience in airport systems will be considered an asset
