Due to continued growth of operations, we are seeking to recruit
Senior Audit Professionals

to join our team in Athens and Thessaloniki.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Ability to conduct statutory and tax audits up to the completion stage
• Review the audit process and oversee report preparation
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of engagements, which includes developing work plans, timelines, project management, and resource allocation
• Properly document work papers, providing proper documentation of audit steps performed and evidence gathered, and ensure audit issues are well defined and root causes are identified.
• Participating in the preparation of relevant client proposals
• Ability to lead, train and manage the junior team members
• Reviewing the work of junior colleagues and developing their knowledge through "on the job coaching"
• Understand accounting and technical issues and applying professional auditing standards
• Ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements
• Maintaining highest standards of business ethics
• Working collaboratively with other lines of service and practice areas to deliver other services
• Produce quality client correspondence
• Providing excellent quality work and building long term relationships with clients

lexibility to travel locally in accordance with client and other job requirements

Experience

At least 2-4 years

of prior external Audit working experience

Education

• University Degree in: Accounting / Auditing / Finance / Economics / Business Administration
• Postgraduate Qualification in a relevant area will be considered an asset
• Holders or in the final stage (please indicate in the CV, number of remaining modules) of acquiring a professional qualification (IESOEL, JES, ACCA, ACA)

Other skills and proficiency

• Having updated knowledge of IFRS, Greek Accounting Standards, Corporate Income Tax
• Continuously improve in quality and efficiency by innovating and using technology
• Excellent reporting and writing skills
• Maturity and professionalism to discuss relevant issues with the client during the audit process
• Ability to work in a team and to tight deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English (Proficiency)
• Knowledge of risk-based audit methodologies and practical experience in auditing techniques, including risk assessment and internal controls evaluation
• A

dvanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
