In partnership with Piraeus Bank, we are also developing Snappi, Greece's first digital-only bank. That's where you come in.

We are looking for talented and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data models, extract, transform and load (ETL) processes, and develop data integration solutions.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes of data.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries.
  • Optimize data pipelines and ETL processes for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation, data cleansing, and data governance practices.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot large-scale data processing systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of data engineering concepts and principles.
  • Expertise in SQL and database systems, such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, such as Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform and cloud data services such as Databricks or Snowflake.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL development, and data integration tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
