Our client, a leader in AI-powered social intelligence solutions, is looking for a dynamic Mid/Senior Data Engineer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies, enabling seamless delivery and scaling of innovative SaaS solutions in a data-driven environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a Mid/Senior Data Engineer who will work on developing, testing and maintaining our Big Data architecture. Our ideal team member will have the proper computer science/engineering expertise, deep knowledge of data engineering principles, natural curiosity and a creative mind. We will rely on you to recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.

What You'll Do:

  • Work on and enhance our Big Data infrastructure and services
  • Join a team of experts from various fields to provide better end-user solutions
  • Take full responsibility of the data processing pipeline, including data import, cleaning, storing and processing of large amounts of data
  • Share knowledge and be a critical bridging actor among the various teams inside the team
  • Follow best practices and keep up with emerging technologies/industry trends
  • Actively contribute to taking Data Engineering of the company to the next level

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Great programming skills and deep knowledge of software development principles
  • Production experience with Cloud infrastructure, preferably with Azure
  • Extensive experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch 8 & Kibana)
  • Deep knowledge of Python
  • Extensive experience with Relational Databases and/or NoSQL systems
  • Team spirit and willingness to learn from as well as mentor others

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

  • Experience with infrastructure as a code (IaaC) tools (pref. Terraform)
  • Knowledge of any reporting ΒΙ tool (pref. PowerBI)
  • Experience with Orchestration and/or ETL frameworks (e.g. Airflow)
  • Basic understanding of Machine Learning & Statistical Modelling
  • Working experience with Linux environment
