Exam Security Associate

Strategic Oversight, Planning and Monitoring

• Lead the ongoing development and execution of our exam security roadmap, covering both technological and operational improvements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and external standards in exam integrity and assessment security; use these insights to drive internal improvements and inform the exam security roadmap
• Commission and manage independent evaluations or external audits of our security systems and processes.
• Work closely with departments such as Product, Technology, Operations, and Marketing to define business needs and translate them into security requirements.
• Build robust business cases for proposed security initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory and customer expectations.
• Oversee and coordinate the implementation of new exam security features and processes across exam delivery modes.
• Monitor live exam operations to identify emerging risks, limitations, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and communication of current system statuses and operational issues.
• Review incidents or suspected breaches of exam security and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Provide actionable recommendations to internal teams to mitigate future risks.
• Promote a company-wide culture of exam integrity and ethical assessment delivery.

External Representation and Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with the Marketing and Product teams to clearly articulate and promote our exam security framework to clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Represent the organization at industry events, external meetings, and university stakeholder visits to present our exam security strategy and commitment to integrity.

• University Degree preferably Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, a master's degree and relevant international certifications will be appreciated.
• A minimum of 2-year experience in a similar role or in security operations, particularly in exam delivery or a related field.
• Advanced written and spoken English (C2 level certification desired, LANGUAGECERT C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus).
• Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable strategies.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Up-to-date knowledge of security technologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution and operational excellence.
