As a Junior BI Analyst you will:
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics and trends
  • Facilitate connection and integration of various data sources (e.g., databases, cloud platforms, spreadsheets, APIs) with BI tools, ensuring data accuracy and reliability
  • Participate in interdepartmental communications to understand their reporting needs and translate them into effective dashboard solutions
  • Support in performing data validation and quality checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of information presented in dashboards
  • Contribute in troubleshooting issues related to data connections, dashboard performance, and data discrepancies
  • Contribute to the development of data governance and documentation standards for the BI platform
  • Assist senior analysts with ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requests
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest features and best practices in Looker Studio and other relevant BI tools

What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related discipline
  • A foundational understanding of data visualization principles and best practices
  • Hands-on experience or familiarity with Looker Studio and/or other BI tools
  • Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL (Structured Query Language) for data querying
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Basic communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of business intelligence

Nice to have:
  • Experience or familiarity with data integration processes and tools
  • Experience with BI and data visualization tools
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure).
  • Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python).
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts
