We are seeking a proactive and versatile
Marketing Specialist for Innovation and Ventures
to establish and lead our marketing efforts, supporting a wide range of activities across our innovation-focused Venture Studio and related services. The successful candidate would have a proven track record of crafting customer-centric marketing strategies, using cutting-edge tools (preferably AI-powered marketing tools) , and collaborating with or within advertising agencies. This role combines strategic marketing leadership with hands-on execution to support our diverse operations, including our innovation initiatives, client marketing services, and internal startups. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategy while driving the execution of projects that support innovation, entrepreneurship and other ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  1. Develop and implement a marketing strategy that aligns with the company's focus on innovation and other ventures.
  2. Shape marketing workflows and objectives to support internal startups, external clients, and accelerator programs.
  3. Collaborate with leadership to expand the marketing function and align it with our mission to drive innovation services.

Client and Startup Support:

  1. Communicate with clients to understand their marketing needs and translate them into actionable campaigns.
  2. Develop marketing proposals based on budgets, tailored to client requirements.
  3. Provide hands-on support for startups within the venture studio, helping them build and execute marketing strategies to achieve growth.

Execution and Coordination

  1. Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns, coordinating specialists in areas like social media, PPC, and content marketing.
  2. Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and deliver detailed reports to stakeholders.
  3. Organize and supervise marketing projects to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Growth and Development:

  1. Develop a departmental plan with clear KPIs, such as revenue and profit generated by the department, to evaluate success as a leader.
  2. Identify tools and platforms to improve efficiency and enhance marketing capabilities.
  3. Work on "productizing" marketing services to create clear, standardized offerings that can be easily presented and sold.
  4. Collaborate with the sales team to train them in effectively promoting and selling the marketing services.
  5. Stay abreast of industry trends, particularly in innovation and entrepreneurship, to bring fresh ideas to our services.

Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years of experience in marketing, with both strategic and operational responsibilities.
  2. Strong understanding of innovation ecosystems, entrepreneurship, or defense-related services is highly desirable.
  3. Proven ability to manage marketing campaigns and deliver measurable results.
  4. Excellent communication skills for client and team interaction, proposal preparation, and reporting.
  5. Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Meta Business Suite).
  6. Preferable experience in leveraging and integrating AI-driven tools for content creation, targeting, personalization, and analytics.
  7. Experience with startup marketing or accelerator programs is a plus.
  8. Leadership potential, with a focus on building and mentoring a marketing team.
  9. Experience in collaborating with or managing creative and media agencies.

Career Path:
This role is designed to grow with the company. Initially focused on establishing and executing marketing strategies, the successful candidate will transition into a leadership position.
