TMS Dry Ltd.
is currently looking to recruit a
PMS & Performance Engineer
to implement, maintain and improve the company's computerized Performance monitoring system and Planned Maintenance System (PMS), ensuring that all vessels' performance is monitored accurately and operated in accordance with company policy and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and utilize the company's Performance Monitoring and Voyage Optimization platform (by third party vendor), evaluating the vessels' hull condition and performance status and trends
  • Develop and maintain records of equipment, machinery and maintenance activities on board the company vessels in the company's PMS (Vessel specific PMS)
  • Follow up and arrange with vendors, repairs and/or troubleshooting of vessels defective hardware equipment
  • Prepare and present all necessary reports for Senior Management, to facilitate decision-making
  • Maintain PMS updates and develop it as required to ensure a high level of performance and efficiency across the fleet
  • Train seagoing and company personnel on the company's Performance Monitoring and PMS software
  • Contribute to or undertake special projects according to Technical Department needs and execute associated tasks to ensure successful completion

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • University Degree in Naval Architecture and/or Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Familiar with machinery and equipment used in merchant ships
  • At least 1-year experience in a similar position
  • IT literate, particularly with MS Office and performance related platforms and tools
  • Familiarity/experience with Tableau or Power BI, AutoCAD, Python, SQL shall be considered an asset.
  • Proficient in English, orally and in writing
  • High sense of responsibility and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
