Senior Sofware Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our talented engineering team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications. You will be responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design to deployment and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain projects throughout all phases of the software development life cycle (mainly in NodeJS and Golang)

  • Ensure that solutions meet all needs with respect to functionality, security, scalability, performance, reliability

  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment

  • Adhere to software development principles and follow best practices

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (managers, designers, testers) to deliver high-quality software

  • Implementation of security and data protection standards

  • Write and maintain software documentation

  • Find and fix stability/scalability issues in a timely critical environment

  • Adhere to realistic implementation timeframes

  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies, web standards and industry trends

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • 7+ years of professional experience in software development

  • Understand and apply fundamental concepts of AI and LLMs to enhance development processes and final product

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to details

  • Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (NodeJS, Go, Python, Rust)

  • Solid understanding of web security principles (e.g., OWASP Top 10, authentication, authorization)

  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript

  • Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)

  • Experience in developing distributed systems and micro-services

  • Excellent understanding of SCM and versioning tools, such as Git

  • Understanding of modern JS ecosystem, tools and frameworks is a plus

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools is a plus

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus

  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
