Responsibilities:

• Manages Demand and Strategic Alignment: Coordinates the process of registering, evaluating and prioritizing project demand in collaboration with IT Departments. Ensures compliance with governance frameworks, proposes solutions for deviations and actively participates in aligning projects with IT strategy and business objectives
• Plans and Allocates the Resources: Defines the project scheduling and optimal allocation of available resources (human and financial), while monitoring the overall balance between project demand, capacity availability and the company's strategic directions
• Trains and supports Stakeholders: Designs and presents training material on the demand and project planning process to senior management, Project Managers and stakeholders and provides ongoing coaching on the effective use of tools such as ServiceNow SPM
• Develops Policies and Procedures: Is responsible for drafting, updating and implementing policies and procedures based on best international practices and monitors compliance and recommends improvement actions where necessary
• Oversees Projects and Performance: Monitors and analyzes the progress of projects and programs using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), dashboards and reports. Supports timely risk and issue forecasting and management, collaborates with Project Managers to provide solutions and recommends corrective actions to improve portfolio-level efficiency and deliverable quality
• Collaborates and coordinates: Acts as a point of reference between IT, Business and external partners, ensuring effective strategic communication, coordination and alignment across all levels
• Develops and utilizes Systems/Innovations: Participates in the utilization and configuration of Project Portfolio Management systems (ServiceNow SPM), while supporting the integration of innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence and analytics into the operations of the Project Management Office (PMO) to enhance decision-making
• Manages Risks:Identifies and monitors risks related to the operation of the Project Management Office (PMO), Demand Management and the project portfolio. Proposes and implements early warning mechanisms and mitigation strategies, ensuring continuous business continuity

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a University or College or Technological Educational Institute in Sciences, Technology, Economics, Business Administration or Computer Science
• Master's degree in Sciences or Technology, Business Administration (MBA) or Project Management will be considered an additional qualification
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in running a Project Management Office (PMO) and/or in managing multiple Projects/Programs for the implementation of Information Systems and Telecommunications
• Experience in Information Technology or Telecommunications teams will be considered an additional qualification
• Project Management certifications, such as e.g. PMI, Prince2 will be considered an additional qualification
• Familiarity with software development, basic cybersecurity principles and network infrastructure will be considered an additional qualification
• Knowledge of MS Project
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
• Availability for urgent geographical relocations
