Scope:
A Merchandiser handles a store's inventory levels and product displays. Also, a Merchandiser performs several analysis and management tasks to provide the most accurate and relevant information, regarding the market and the competition.
Job Responsibilities:
· Works with suppliers and distributors to negotiate prices and maximize orders.
· Maximizes customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
· Maintains store shelves by removing dated or damaged products.
· Assesses the effectiveness of different product displays and store layouts on sales figures.
· Reviews competitors, including pricing, store layouts and marketing activities.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
· 2+ years of experience working in a similar position.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong attention to detail.
· Team working skills.
· Written and verbal communication skills.
