Role Overview
We are looking for a SOA/OSB Integration Engineer / Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing integration solutions across enterprise systems. You will ensure robust, secure, and efficient data flows while supporting documentation, monitoring, and cross-team collaboration.
What You'll Be Doing
Implement well-scoped integrations using SOA, OSB, APIs, and event-driven patterns.
Build and test services/APIs (REST/SOAP) including mapping, transformation (XSLT/JSON), callouts, and error handling.
Monitor and troubleshoot integrations, including logging, alerting, and performance analysis.
Document integration processes through interface specs, sequence diagrams, and Confluence/Wiki pages.
Collaborate with business and IT teams to translate requirements into integration specifications and SLAs.
Follow integration security practices, including OAuth2, mTLS, API key management, and secrets handling.
What You'll Bring
3+ years of experience in system integration, SOA/OSB, or related roles.
Hands-on experience with Oracle SOA Suite 12c, OSB, or equivalent platforms.
Strong understanding of integration patterns (request/response, pub/sub, batch, file, event-driven) and data formats (JSON, XML).
Proficiency in SQL, basic PL/SQL, and scripting (Unix shell, WLST) for automation and monitoring.
Familiarity with DevOps practices including version control (Git), CI/CD, unit/integration testing, and monitoring tools (Grafana/Kibana).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with a proactive and dependable work style.
Nice to Haves
Experience with microservices orchestration, hybrid cloud integration, or iPaaS platforms.
Knowledge of advanced security and compliance standards (OIDC, SAML, audit logging).
Experience in mentoring junior engineers or leading integration teams.
