So what's the challenge…

Get ready to dive deep into data and unlock its power to drive business insights and decisions Join our dynamic team as a BI & Analytics Engineer, where you'll be designing, managing, monitoring, and securing our BI & Analytics solutions, using innovative tools & technologies.

Your day to day will include:

• Participating in the design and implementation of OPAP Data Warehouse components, data marts, ETL procedures, reports, and dashboards

• Analyzing business requirements and system functions and developing a solid understanding of OPAP products and operations

• Contributing to Data Governance processes, focusing on data quality throughout the lifecycle

• Participating in Unit Testing cycles and supporting QA processes

• Leveraging available tools and techniques tools to consolidate information from various data sources for decision support

• Performing maintenance activities and troubleshooting incidents in Data Warehouses

• Diagnosing and resolving problems in BI & Analytics areas to improve department efficiency

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and Data Protection guidelines

• Documenting BI applications and providing training and support to end users for accurate utilization

• Enabling business users to utilize self-service tools for uncovering insights and supporting daily tasks

What you need to succeed:

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another relevant field. A MSc degree in relevant topic is desirable

• 2+ experience in analysis, design, development, testing & support of large-scale BI projects

• Κnowledge of Lottery/Gaming/Betting/Casinos, Passive/Scratch systems & business concepts is a plus

• Experience in OPAP favorite Microsoft based ETL tools on Cloud or on-premises infrastructures

• Experience in Report/Dashboard design and multidimensional analysis using tools such Microsoft SSAS/SSRS, Power BI or similar

• Experience with Cloud-based platforms for Big Data & Analytics (Azure/PowerBI).

• Data Science fundamentals and familiarity with common tools (Python, R, DataBricks, etc) is desirable

• Good knowledge of OPAP operating systems and infrastructure is desirable

• Strong analytical skills

• Effective organizational and planning skills to deal with a variety of projects

• Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
