We are looking for a person who is passionate about data and AI to join our exceptional team of professionals. You must have a problem-solving attitude and be eager to learn new things.

You'll work with SQL, ETL tools, Python and more, building data pipelines, shaping clean datasets, and supporting innovative Data and AI projects that push the boundaries of how businesses use data.

We will actively guide and support your induction to the world of professional Data Engineering and Analytics, giving you time time to develop your skills and adapt to the role.

Responsibilities

The Data and BI Engineer will be involved in the following activities in 3 pillars:

I. Data Engineering:

  • Extract, transform, cleanse, and enrich data from diverse sources
  • Build and maintain data pipelines using SQL and Python
  • Design and implement relational databases, data warehouses, and data marts

II. Analytics & Insights:

  • Organize and classify data to enable smarter decisions
  • Explore datasets to recognize trends, patterns, and correlations
  • Deliver reporting, visualizations, and data storytelling

III. AI & Innovation:

  • Support projects involving LLMs and AI tools, leveraging modern tools both open-source and commercial
  • Connect data with AI-powered systems to provide insights

Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills (querying, transformations, performance optimization)
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Degree in Informatics, Sciences, or Engineering
  • Familiarity with AI/ML/LLM tools (e.g., Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI APIs)
  • Ability to understand, extend, or design a relational data model
  • Problem-solving attitude and analytical mindset
  • Interest in understanding the business problems behind the data
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • English at C1 level or above

Good to have

  • Previous hands-on experience in data-related projects (academic or professional)
  • Postgraduate degree in Business Analytics, Data Engineering, Applied Statistics, or related fields
  • Certifications from platforms such as Coursera, eDX, Udacity, or DataCamp
  • Exposure and familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Contributions to GitHub projects, Kaggle competitions, or other open-source/data communities

Additional Information

We are a remote-first company, with the flexibility to visit our customers on-site when required. For this role, we are considering candidates located in the Athens Metropolitan area.
