The Platform Services department – comprising the teams Infrastructure as a Service, Storage & Backup Operations, Network Operations, Security Operations, and Platform as a Service – is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of all platforms used by our customers and noris network AG. Within this structure, the Infrastructure as a Service team manages the virtualization environments across our data centers.

Responsibilities
:

  • Operation of VMware environments, including VMware Aria Suite components and the following VMware products: VMware Cloud Director Available Appliance, VMware NSX-T, VMware vSAN
  • Regular lifecycle management (updates and upgrades) of the VMware environments like ESXi, vCenter, NSX-T, Aria Suite products vROPS, LogInsight, etc.
  • Automation of recurring tasks
  • Independent ticket handling using standard tools such as OTRS and ServiceNow

Qualifications
:

  • Solid experience in operating medium to large VMware environments
  • Good knowledge of VMware life cycle management
  • Ideally, good understanding of NSX-T and vSAN
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • A flexible and independent working style defines your approach
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of German would be an asset
