We are looking for a talented and motivated
Pastry Chef
to join the culinary team at
Vasia Resort & Spa
. This role is ideal for a passionate pastry professional who enjoys working in a high-standard hotel environment, supporting the Executive Pastry Chef in delivering exceptional desserts and baked goods that enhance the overall guest experience.

As Pastry Chef, you will be actively involved in daily pastry production, ensuring consistency, creativity, and quality across all outlets. You will work closely with the Executive Pastry Chef and pastry team, contributing to menu execution, preparation, and presentation while maintaining high standards of hygiene, organization, and efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in daily pastry and bakery production for all hotel outlets.
  • Prepare and present desserts, pastries, breads, and baked goods to a high standard.
  • Support the Executive Pastry Chef in menu execution and seasonal offerings.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and creativity in all pastry items.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
  • Assist with inventory control, ordering, and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure proper kitchen organization, cleanliness, and equipment care.
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to support overall operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Cook in a hotel or professional kitchen.
  • Strong foundation in pastry and bakery techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively under the guidance of the Executive Pastry Chef.
  • Attention to detail and passion for presentation and quality.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Culinary or pastry qualification is required; additional certifications are an advantage.
  • Team-oriented attitude with a positive and professional approach.
